New Projects are coming your way…
Today we have two more Rhode Island vital record projects, Rhode Island, Vital Extracts County Records, 1636-1850 and Rhode Island, Vital Extracts, Newspaper, 1636-1850. These are similar to the Rhode Island, Vital Extracts, Church Records, 1636-1850 (all three projects come from the same collection) that we released last week – reviewing the Discussion page for this project will help in knowing how specific types of records should be keyed. Due to the variety of records you will encounter there are quite a few fields, marriage and death records will have more fields keyed than a birth record due to data for the spouse – you may want to review all of fields we are keying so you will know when a record has information for one of those fields. These records are typed so they are easy to read, interpreting is where some of the difficulty lies.
