New and almost new projects!
Yesterday we released two “new” projects, Slave Ads and Abstracts from a Natchez, MS newspaper, 1823-1849 and London, England, School Admissions and Discharges, 1841-1911, Form 2.
The Slave Ads started as a book so it is a pretty small project – and I suspect it will be done soon! By way of fascinating records these are definitely high on the list. It’s sad, and odd for me to see the ads selling people and having people willed to others upon the death of their owners but it is history. If you are a history buff you’ll want to snatch at least one of the 230 remaining image sets. To learn more about keying this project you can refer to the online help article, or post a query on the message board.
And many of you are already familiar with the London School Admissions and Discharges – this project comprises the images that were split. We have added a few fields to this project so we can match the names with birthdates and other information on the records. Happy Keying!
