August Edition: The Wondrous Works of Genealogical Societies

Earlier today we sent out our quarterly World Archives Project newsletter.  In this edition our feature article, written by Lou Szucs, is about how societies can be involved in the project.

In this edition we also announced that we will be introducing an updated keying tool – watch for more details this week.  We would love to have you join us at one of the webinars we are holding, one at 6 pm BST, and one at 8 pm ET, where Crista and I will be demonstrating the new features of the tool.

If you would like to subscribe to the newsletter you can update your mailing preferences here.

In case anyone wants a time conversion…

6 pm BST is British Summer Time (London), which is 1 pm ET, or 11 am MT (Provo, UT)

and

8 pm ET is Eastern Time (New York), which is 1 am BST, or 10 am in Sydney…

The webinars will be very similar so although you can attend both if you’d like we will be covering the same information.
