Two New Projects Ready for Indexing

We are excited to announce two new projects.

USHMM – UNRRA – European Regional Office Registry Files

The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum is the United States’ official memorial to the Holocaust. The USHMM provides for the documentation, study, and interpretation of Holocaust history. It is dedicated to “helping leaders and citizens of the world confront hatred, prevent genocide, promote human dignity, and strengthen democracy.”

This collection contains information relating to the United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration’s (UNRRA) work with refugees and Displaced Persons after World War II. The records in this project are from the European Regional Office.

All instructions and sample images are found in this article.  Questions, and other comments can be posted on the message board.

Ireland Abstracts of Wills and Marriages

This collection contains abstracts of wills, marriages, and other genealogical records from Ireland.

All instructions and sample images are found in this article.  Questions, and other comments can be posted on the message board.

Reader Comments

As I can’t get back to the Bedfordshire Poor Law message board I will have to say here that some of the survey comments make absolutely no sense and wonder if they refer to my keying l or even to the project at all!

We would love to review the survey comments but unfortunately we do not have access to each individuals comments. If you could copy the comments that concern you, email them to worldarchivesproject@ancestry.com along with your username. We will research and let you know what we can find out.

Thank you for participating in keying this project.
