New USHMM Project

We are excited to add this new USHMM project to the AWAP community.

USHMM-Displaced Persons in Ebensee, Austria

The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum is the United States’ official memorial to the Holocaust. The USHMM provides for the documentation, study, and interpretation of Holocaust history. It is dedicated to “helping leaders and citizens of the world confront hatred, prevent genocide, promote human dignity, and strengthen democracy.”

This collection features photocopies of name lists of displaced persons, grouped by nationality, remaining in Ebensee concentration camp after liberation. Lists of Polish displaced persons make up the bulk of the collection.
All instructions and sample images are found in this article.  Questions and other comments can be posted on the message board. *For USHMM projects – If you post an image on the message board  please remove the message once you receive an answer.
