U.S. Southern Claims Commission, Disallowed and Barred Claims, 1871-1880


The project, U.S. Southern Claims Commission, Disallowed and Barred Claims, 1871-1880 has been with the community since early 2013.  Due to how long the project is taking, we’ve decided to carve rolls off and send them to a payed indexer.  The project, once complete, will be merged back together and made available free to the community.

I think this particular project was just too complicated for many people. Good luck to the paid indexers!

I could never figure out why the use of “Cover Page, Section Header, Etc”! Usually they are NOT cover pages OR Section Headers, just confusing terms. Why not just have an “Other” option? Also, it felt bad to me not to capture other names within the narratives/testimonies. I know this was the second time over for this project, so I hope the first time through captured some of these names that may otherwise be lost.
