Two new projects
Yesterday brought us two new indexing projects – Abden, Fife, Scotland, Poor Law Records, 1888-1940 and Australia, Newspaper Vital Notices, 1841-2001 (Part 1c).
Abden, Fife, Scotland, Poor Law Records, 1888-1940 is the first in a series of projects we will be indexing from Fife. This project contains records of inmates in the Kirkcaldy Combination Poorhouse. The records are handwritten and legible. This is a smaller project so you’ll have to act fast to get a few image sets. If you have questions or feedback please post them on the Discussion page or the UK Records message board.
And the Australia, Newspaper Vital Notices, 1841-2001 (Part 1c) project is the second project in this series. This project contains newspaper pages that contain vital notices – you will have to search the image to find the notices. Generally the images are great quality and being typewritten the records are easy to read. If you have questions or feedback please post them on the Discussion page or the Australia Records message board.
Happy indexing!
