More “criminal” records

One of my favorite projects to date – location, criminals, pictures, slight challenge of handwriting – the Arizona, Prison Records, 1875-1929 seems to have it all.  These are prison records from Yuma, Arizona.  (My sister lived, and taught HS in Yuma for years – their school mascot was a “Crim”.)  This project is rated as Average due to the handwriting and sometimes poor image quality; they are printed forms so are easy to follow and find the data we are keying.  If you have questions, comments or feedback about this project please post a message on the Discussion page or U.S. Records, Other message board.

And the New South Wales, Australia, Industrial School Registers, 1867-1925 (Part 2) is familiar friend.  This project has admission, apprenticeship, and discharge records from the Industrial Schools which functioned as orphanages, reform schools, and homes for at-risk girls.  The records are handwritten and are generally on printed forms so it is rated as an Average difficulty.  If you have questions, comments or feedback please post a message on the wiki Discussion page or the Australia Records message board.

Happy indexing!
