Our new project is the Medway, Kent, England, Poor Law Union Records, 1837-1937. The records are all in register format detailing the individuals who were admitted to Workhouses. You can read more about Poor Laws and the records created as a result here. The records are on forms that are easy to follow and although handwritten are generally easy to read.
