Two more “new” projects
We have a handful of projects that we will see again and again as we work through all of the parts of the project. This week brings us Kansas, City and County Census, 1919-1978 (Part 2) and Oregon, Biographical and Other Index Card File, 1700s-1900s (Part 2).
Kansas, City and County Census, 1919-1978 (Part 2) is coming to just in time – the original project is complete and there are not many more image sets to complete Part 1. The records I have been keying as we test the project are from the 1940s. One of my favorite things about this project, other than the speed I can get through an image set with no keyed records, is that we have the opportunity to index records from the twentieth century. Because we are only keying the Schedule 2 census records there are many images that are Cover pages. If you have questions about this project post a message on the Discussion page, or the Census Records message board.
The Oregon, Biographical and Other Index Card File, 1700s-1900s (Part 2) is a smaller project with cards that generally have only 1 record to be indexed. The cards contain details regarding individuals who wrote letters to Matthew Deady a local politician and law maker. If you have questions about this project post a message on the Discussion page or the US Records – Other message board.
Happy indexing!
