Family History Month Challenge (Part 2)
UPDATE: We have changed the final Challenge due to technical issues with the project. It will run November 1 & 2.
October is Family History Month in the U.S. and Canada and since we already celebrated in August we are having a Part 2 event. The top keyer and reviewer(s)* will win their choice of a DNA kit, FTM software or 3 month Ancestry World subscription. We are going to hop around the world as we go throughout the month.
Challenges:

7 & 8: Illinois, Chicago and North Western Railroad
11 & 12: The Ottawa Journal (review) and West Yorkshire, England, Apprenticeship Records, 1638-1899
16 & 17: Scotland, Royal College of Nursing, Register of Nurses and New Zealand, The New Zealand Gazette, 1860-1894

We will continue with the Weekend Warrior drawings – all contributors who contribute a total of 750 records from Friday-Sunday (MT) will be entered in a drawing for a water bottle or a Don’t Let the World’s Stories Disappear t-shirt. To communicate with others who are participating in the Challenges join the event on our Facebook page or from the Event Calendar.
Happy Family History Month!
*Terms and Conditions: The Project of the Day Challenges (each a “Challenge”) are administered by Ancestry.com Operations Inc, 360 West 4800 North, Provo, Utah 84604, USA (“Ancestry”). The Challenges are open to contributors resident in USA, UK, Canada and Australia, aged 18 or over, except employees or agents of Ancestry or its group companies. Each Challenge begins at 00:01 MST and ends at 23:59 MST on the relevant day. No cash alternatives to the prizes will be offered, and the prizes are not transferable. You agree to Ancestry making the name and state of winners available on request. Hi,
I saw posted on Facebook that I had won the first challenge, but I have never received an e-mail. Has anyone tried to contact the winners yet?
