5, Yes 5, New Projects!

Today we are catching up on the slump we have had over the past few weeks.  There were a few back end issues we had to resolve before new projects could be made available in the keying tool – you would get a kick out of how excited we were when we were told we could release the projects.

And the new projects are…

  • New Zealand, The New Zealand Gazette, 1860-1894 –  This project contains gazettes published weekly as the official newspaper of the government so there is a wide variety of articles that we will be keying names from.  You will want to review the list of records and names we are NOT keying.  If you have any questions or comments please post them on the Discussion page.
  • Scotland, Royal College of Nursing, Register of Nurses – Just as the title implies this is a collection of records for individuals applying to become registered nurses in Scotland.  It is straight forward and simple to key.  If you have any questions or comments please post them on the Discussion page.
  • UK, Electrical Engineer WWI and WWII Rolls of Honour, 1924, 1949 – This is a very small and simple project, it contains the names of members of The Institution of Electrical Engineers who died in the First and Second World Wars.  If you have any questions or comments please post them on the Discussion page.
  • USHMM – Romania, Selected Holocaust Records, 1940-1945 – These records, as with the other “Selected Records” projects, contain a wide variety of records including name lists, registration cards, correspondence, etc. The records are from the Romanian archives and pertain to the persecution and emigration during the German occupation.  If you have any questions or comments please post them on the Discussion page.

Happy indexing!
