Happy Valentine’s Day!

Earlier today I was thinking about the World Archives Project and Valentine’s Day- there are a few projects that stood out, Boston, Missing Irish; Marriages of the Deaf in America; Pavia Marriages and Gretna Green.  Then I went searching through the Live projects and found quite a few more.  Did you realize we had keyed so many marriage records?

Live on Ancestry.com:

Boston, Missing Irish Immigrants, 1831-1920

Consular Reports of Marriages, 1910-1949

Cuyahoga County, Ohio, Marriage Records, 1810-1973

Gretna Green, Scotland, Marriage Registers, 1795-1895

London, England, Crisp’s Marriage Licences Index

Marriages of the Deaf in America, 1889-1894

Ontario, Canada Marriages Registers by Clergy 1896 – 1948

Rutherford County, North Carolina, Marriages, 1779-1868

Scioto County, Ohio, Marriage Records, 1803-1860

Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, Piemonte, Italia: Registri di Matrimonio e Morte, 1866-1937 (Italy: Marriage and Death Records)

In Processing:

Hampshire, England, Allegations for Marriage Licences, 1689-1837

Marion County, Oregon, Marriage Records, 1849-1900

Pavia, Lombardia, Italia: Registri di Matrimonio, 1866-1937 (Registers of Marriage)

And in a few weeks we’ll have another marriage project, Ireland Marriages, 1771-1812, for your keying pleasure.

Happy Valentines Day and Happy keying!
