And on to Week 7, our last week in the U.S.  Our projects this week are:

We just released the Pennsylvania, Society of Mayflower Descendants Applications project today for keying and it will open for review on Wednesday.  These applications are a wealth of knowledge as they follow through the descendancy of the applicant linking them to their relative who was on the Mayflower.  Because the applicants wrote in their answers there is a variance in handwriting but I haven’t come across an application yet that I couldn’t read.  If you have questions or feedback about this project you can post them on the Discussion page or this message board thread.

Happy indexing!  May your fingers fly across your keyboard and never weary.

I have a question for those listed as winners for the past couple of weeks for the Fall Challenge.

Have you been notified that you are a winner yet? If so, how long did it take to be contacted after the challenge ended?

I am listed as a winner for Week 4 for the project I worked on but have not been contacted. I emailed ancestry.com at worldarchivesproject@ancestry.com (like it is listed in the rules for this ongoing contest) inquiring about the winners but have not received a reply; that was almost two weeks ago.

GB,
Everyone should have been contacted and the winners that I did not hear back from yet were sent a reminder email. If you haven’t seen an email please send me a note, afechter at ancestry.com. Congratulations.
