Three new projects
Today brings us three new projects – although all are from the U.S. the similarities stop there.
The U.S., Military Registers, 1862-1970 (Part 2) project contains registers for military personnel stationed in Oregon. There are a wide variety of types of records you will see but all keyed records should be classified as Military Register forms.
If you have any questions or comments regarding this collection you can post them on the Discussion page or this message board thread.
The Oklahoma, Indian and Pioneer Historical Collection and Index contains transcripts of oral histories collected from living witnesses about pioneer life in Oklahoma in the early twentieth century. You will encounter a variety of Burial records, sometimes spanning 3-4 pages, and Interview pages, also spanning multiple pages. We are reading through the interviews to gather the information we are keying. You will want to familiarize yourself with the possible form types.
If you have questions or comments about this collection you can post them on the Discussion page or on this message board thread.
And the Indiana, Quaker Meeting Directories, 1836-1921 is a small collection of Quaker member directories and meeting attendees. There is a small variety of record types with all of the keyed records being classified as a Directory form type.
If you have questions or comments about this project please post them on the Discussion page or this message board thread.
Any question regarding the World Archives Project can be sent to our support team, worldarchivessupport@ancestry.com.
Happy keying!
