New Projects!
Today we have three new projects – Surrey, England, Records of Victuallers, 1785-1903, Surrey, England, Records of Freeholders, 1696-1824 and United States, War Department, Press Releases and Related Records, 1942-1945. This is a great group of records that are easy enough for beginners and fun for more seasoned keyers.
The Surrey, England, Records of Victuallers, 1785-1903, Surrey, England, Records of Freeholders, 1696-1824 collections are both handwritten collections with lists of individuals. The handwriting can be difficult but is generally very legible. They can both vary significantly in the number of records but the Freeholders generally has quite a few more records on the page and for that reason there is only one image per image set.
If you have questions or feedback about these projects please post them on the Discussion pages, Freeholders, Victuallers, or on the corresponding message board thread found here.
And the remaining new project is bound to become a new favorite for me. The United States, War Department, Press Releases and Related Records can be emotional but it is so interesting to read over these records. The records are typed so they are easy to read which is good as you often need to read through the entire release to find all of the information we are keying.
If you have questions or feedback about this project please post them on the Discussion page or this message board thread.
Happy keying!
PS: Review image sets will be available Friday.
