Heading Down Under this week…

This week we have two new projects – New South Wales, Australia, Colonial Secretary’s Papers, 1788-1825 and New Zealand, Who’s Who in New Zealand and the Western Pacific, 1908, 1925, 1938.  They are both relatively small projects 200 and 700 image sets respectively.

New South Wales, Australia, Colonial Secretary’s Papers, 1788-1825 is a collection of letters from the Colonial Secretary to the Commandant in New South Wales.  It is handwritten and is unique in that we are keying the names found in the margins.  If you have questions about this project please post them on the Discussion page.

New Zealand, Who’s Who in New Zealand and the Western Pacific, 1908, 1925, 1938 is a collection of volumes of biographies for men whose public service to New Zealand was considered noteworthy.  These are typed records and are easy to follow.  If you are lucky you may download image sets from the volume with photos.  If you have any questions about this project please post them on the Discussion page.

Happy keying!
