This is a photo of my Uncle, PFC. Donald O. Gillam of the 90th Signal Corp. U.S. Army, who served in WWII and was killed in Landres, France, 08 September 1944. He lived in Detroit, Michigan before his death.

  1. Your uncle was a great looking young man. I am sorry he did not make it back from the war as a lot of our guys didn’t. You can be proud he loved his country enough to serve it and gave his life so the rest of us could enjoy the freedom we continue to enjoy every day.My dad was in the Navy in W.W.2 I was just a few months old when he came home.I am going to post his picture on the site as soon as i learn how to do it.
