 Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup of Flour
  • ¼ Cup of Sugar
  • ½ Cup of Butter
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Cup of Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 2 Tablespoon Flour
  • ½ Teaspoon of Baking Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon of Lemon Rind
  • 1 ½ Cups of Powdered Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Tablespoon of Milk
  • 2 Tablespoons of Soft Butte

Directions:

  • Add flour, sugar and butter into medium-sized mixing bowl
  • Mix well with a spatula
  • Continue to mix with electric mixer (optional)
  • Pour mixture into a square baking tin
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes
  • In a separate bowl, add eggs, sugar and lemon juice
  • Add flour, baking powder, and lemon rind
  • Use electric mixer to combine ingredients
  • Pour mixture onto top of the bars
  • Bake again for 25 minutes at 350 degrees
  • In another bowl add powdered sugar, vanilla extract, milk and butter
  • Mix with electric blender to create an icing
  • Spread on top of bars
