 Ingredients:

  • 4-5 Granny Smith Apples
  • 1 1/2 Cups of Sugar
  • 1-2 Tablespoons of Cinnamon
  • 2 Cups of Flour
  • 3 Teaspoons of Baking Powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon of Salt
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 Cup of Butter

Directions:

  • Peel apples and slice thinly
  • Place in a baking dish so it's 3/4 full
  • Add cinnamon and sugar to the apples
  • Make the dough by mixing together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt
  • Add an egg
  • Stir into crumbly dough
  • Spread over apples
  • Pour melted butter on top
  • Bake for 45 minutes at 375º
  • Serve with vanilla ice cream
