Family History Month Challenge

UPDATE: The Weekend Warriors drawings have been stretched to 3 days – Friday, Saturday and Sunday – and the record threshold increased to 750 records contributed.  (This accommodates everyone, regardless of time zone.)

I’ve been thinking of how we should celebrate National Family History Month (Australia and New Zealand) – well, other than working on our family history and am excited for a new Challenge.  In addition to the traditional Challenge with top keyers and reviewers being rewarded we will also have weekend warrior drawings.  Each Saturday and Sunday contributors who submit 500 or more keying or review records will be entered into a drawing for a t-shirt or thumb drive.

Challenges:

8 & 9 - New South Wales, Australia, Government Gazettes, 1853-1899 (Part 2)

13 –  West Yorkshire, England, Quarter Session Orders, 1637-1914

16 - Belfast, Northern Ireland, The Belfast Newsletter, 1738-1925

19- New York and Vicinity, United Methodist Church Records, 1791-1945
