Thank you very much for the correction. ‘ap Richard’ became Pritchard and ‘ab Ellis’ became Bellis.

There is an error here! In Welsh ‘ap’ is used before consonants, but ‘ab’ is used before vowels.

So “ab Ellis” became Bellis (hence the B, not P).
