		<description>A beautiful looking church. Have been delving around and I agree that it looks like St Giles Stoke Poges pre 1900?. I read that the ivy had to be taken down as it was damaging the structure. Also the spire was removed in 1924? AS I have not seen it in reality, is it still as pretty looking now??</description>

		<description>Yes, definitely St Giles, Stoke Poges.  The church&#039;s website has a selection of old photos - I don&#039;t think they include this one, but there are some similar ones.  Wouldn&#039;t it be nice if all churches had a similar &quot;history&quot; section on their sites?
