Thanks to all for taking part. It is indeed the old Snow Hill Station in Birmingham (the name bearing the seasonal reference!).

Such a grand old building, so really sad that it was demolished, but apparently the foundations weren’t entirely robust and it started very slowly sliding down the hill!

Snow Hill Station Birmingham. It was demolished and replaced and It is now the second most important railway station in the city, after Birmingham New Street station.
