Postcard Poser – October

Posted by Kelly on 31 October 2011 in General, Postcard Poser, Record Collections

Can you guess the location of this month’s postcard poser?  A sleepy village on a river, it could be anywhere! But I’m sure our astute blog readers and Facebook fans will still get it.

For those who are new to this feature on our blog, every month we share a postcard-style photo taken somewhere in the UK. It could be a particular property, a famous landmark, or just a view of the town centre. All you have to do is tell us where the photo was taken in the comments section below.

I agree with Tammy – it is Ross-on-Wye which is only about 25 miles from where I live

Definitely Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire, used to have a business there

It’s Ross-on Wye I know because I live here,
I would think this picture was taken from the rowing club.
The large white building to the top right of the picture is the Royal Hotel and the Church is St. Marys church which boasts an amazing choir.

Well done Tammy and everyone else who got it! I think that was a record time – only took about 6 minutes from posting to a correct answer. Definitely going to have to find something a bit harder next month!

Thanks again for taking part.
