We want to help you discover more about your family’s past. To that end, we’re increasing the hours our expert advisers are available to take your calls.

From the 1st May, our helpline will be open 7 days a week. We’ve also recently extended the hours we’re available during the week so now, we’ll now be on-hand to help with your family history queries Monday to Friday, 9am to 10pm, and Saturday and Sunday, 9am to 8pm.

To speak to us about anything to do with tracing your family, or just get advice on how to use the site, Just email support@ancestry.co.uk or call 0800 404 9723. Alternatively, check out our Help & Advice Centre, with new video tutorials.

I agree with most of the comments on the blog. I think that a subscription refund/extention should be made in relation to the delays in the 1911 Census data. Ancestry will loose a lot of members if this is not resolved quickly and therefore sufficient resources should be devoted to the task.
