At Ancestry we quickly analyze billions of rows of data to deliver insights from our massive database to internal and external audiences. To do this we need tools that have the right capabilities and can be easily adopted by our tech team. In a recent Q&A video Bill Yetman, VP of Commerce, Data and Analytics explains how Ancestry, the largest provider of family history and personal DNA testing, utilizes Tableau tools to support its data-driven culture.

Yetman said in his interview with Tableau that “having access and pulling it up is one thing, but being able to take a look at it and see what the trends are, get an understanding so that we can make a strategic decision for the company—that’s key.”
