Cathy-1-235x282 (3)Ancestry recently announced the launch of AncestryHealth in beta and the appointment of Cathy Petti as the new Chief Health Officer (CHO) of AncestryHealth. She joins our strong and growing leadership team with the initiative to guide our robust genomics, bioinformatics, privacy and security teams in a health-focused strategy and empower consumers to take charge of their health.

Since receiving her A.B. from Harvard University and MD from Duke University, Petti has become internationally recognized for her expertise in clinical diagnostics and global health. In addition to working at TriCore Reference Laboratories as their Vice President and Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Petti has held the position of Global Head of Medical, Scientific and Clinical Affairs for Novartis Diagnostics, Medical Director of ARUP Laboratories and most recently was the founder and president of HealthSpring Global, Inc.

Camille Penrod has been at Ancestry since June 2015 focusing her efforts on supporting the communications team. She graduated from Brigham Young University cum laude and with honors earning a B.A in Communications and minors in Business Management and Ballroom Dance. When Camille is not at work she enjoys teaching dance and playing games with family and friends from her home town. She is proud to be the granddaughter of an FBI agent and the great-great-granddaughter of a farmer who grew some of the largest apples in Utah.
