In this session titled “Spit and Discover— Get Down and Dirty with DNA,” attendees will learn about how the leader in family history and consumer genetics is using data to empower individuals1L5A8957-2575480559-O to take charge of their future. Petti and Baloglu will discuss our latest collaborations and provide an introduction to AncestryHealth offerings. Visitors will also get an under-the-hood look at our complex data science and technology pipelines that enable millions of people to discover, preserve and share the story of what led to them.

Refreshments, beer and wine will be provided at our session and all attendees will have the opportunity to take a DNA test and begin their journey of self-discovery.

Camille Penrod has been at Ancestry since June 2015 focusing her efforts on supporting the communications team. She graduated from Brigham Young University cum laude and with honors earning a B.A in Communications and minors in Business Management and Ballroom Dance. When Camille is not at work she enjoys teaching dance and playing games with family and friends from her home town. She is proud to be the granddaughter of an FBI agent and the great-great-granddaughter of a farmer who grew some of the largest apples in Utah.
