When I started searching in 1999 I did not know anything about two generations back. Since then, I have amassed a lot of info about both sides maternal/paternal, Grt Britain/USA/back as far as the early 1700s. I have an ability to make my mind go back in time and visualize things, battlefields and people that lived. This search has allowed me to do that,I have gotten a sense of who they are based on size of families,what they did, how long they lived,reading articles in old nsprs abt them. For the 1st time in my life (68)I have a sense of belonging to someone and people. That my dear friends is looking back!!!!!!!!!!
