Gloria’s grandmother, Emma (Alander) Koskinen Randa, 1910, Brooklyn, New York. Emma immigrated from Finland in 1906 and married Nicholas Randa in 1911.

I AM PRESENTLY, THE RECIPIENT OF PHOTOS FROM ALL OVER MY EXTENDED FAMILY. IT IS THE “CENTRAL BANK” FOR PHOTOGRAPHS FOR PEOPLE WITH YHE SAME SURNAME.

The pictures are interesting, but it might be of value to those trying to date their own photos to see the back as well. The style of the studio’s logo might help place the time of another, undated, photo.
