More on the Chris Haley/June Baff DNA Reunion

HaleyBaff1.bmpLast week I posted a story about a fascinating reunion that was to take place this past Saturday in London, England, at the Who Do You Think You Are?-Live conference. This morning, our friend Megan Smolenyak of RootsTelevision sent us a link to a video of the reunion. The video gives lots of information on how they made the connection and explains how the DNA testing made the reunion possible in a fun and easy to understand way.

  2. TWO UNCLES DIED IN 1918 IN WWI; ONE) DAVID ODEN INGLE WAS IN MARINES ABOARD SHIPS FROM 1911. HE DIED IN 1918. HOW DO I OBTAIN DETAILS OF HIS DEATH? TWO) JOSEPH PETE INGLE DIED IN 1918; HE WAS US ARMY; I HAVE A PIX OF HIM IN UNIFORM ON A HORSE. I HEARD HE WAS FIRST BURIED IN FRANCE; WHERE; HOW DID HE DIE? SINCE THERE ARE NO OTHER LIVING RELATIVES OF THE IMMEDIATE FAMILY, I HAVE NO ONE TO ASK BUT ANCESTRY.COM, HOPING FOR A BIT OF INFO OF MY FAMILY MEMBERS. THANKS!!

  3. thx for your reply; we do not have a website. should we have one? as you can see, I am relatively new at this. I have the Ingle Family Bible with all immediate family members beginning with my grandparents in 1848 and ending with my father, the youngest child who died in 1965
In view of this, information other than through public records, is very scarce.
    Thanks again.
