    Thank you

  3. I am also from the George & William Stubblefield line. I know some of the family did go to Indiana and would like to hear from you further. Our line ended up in Paris, TX. E.Stubblefield

  4. I note with pride the mane ‘KENNEY’ which I presume was the maiden name,
I was married to an Evelyn Marie Kenney [very Irish] and now some 2 years deceased.
    Methinks, same tree, different branch

    George Clarke, Newfoundland, Canada

  5. I have a Mahalia Jane Stubblefield born in Tennessee and married to James Gallagher Loughmiller also born in Tennessee. She in May 1828 and he Hawkins County in 1825. They married before 1850. Do not have parents for her. There is another Mahalia Jane Stubblefield born in Tennessee and lived in Illinois who was married to a man with the last name of Lucky. They are about the same age etc. but not the same person. Her family ended up in Bell County Texas. Would love to find a connection. This family in the next generation were in Davis and Clay Counties Indiana.

  6. George,Emma Mae’s father,John Joseph Kenney was born in Canada in 1854 and moved to Lake County Indiana before 1877 when he married there. So it is very possible we are of the same tree. And yes the Kenney and Beale’s were very Irish.I would love to hear from you if you have any information on this family.
My husband’s Stubblefield line is from the indiana counties of Grant,Wabash,Fulton,Miami and Howard. But I believe they were once in TennesseeI don’t see any George or William listed in line that I have so far.His grandfather was Robert and Great Grandfather Jeremiah.
