This photo shows my great-uncle, Denver Bolin, feeding a goat as a small boy. It was probably taken around 1919. Denver was born 28 March 1916 in Hawesville, Kentucky, and moved to the Winslow area of Pike County, Indiana, where this photo was taken. He recently passed away in February of 2007 at the age of ninety years.
My mother-in law was a Bolin she was born in 1920 in Texas her father was John Allison Bolin. I wounder if they were related???

I don’t believe I have any connections to either family, but wanted to comment on the pictures. They are superb! I especially love the one of Denver Bolin. This picture is just precious!
The Crawford’s all look like movie stars!!!. My grandmother’s maiden name was Bolen-different spelling and they were from Virginia originally then moved to Ohio and Illinois.
