This pic is signed, Michael Sullivan. Possibly taken in Troy, NY. I am not able to trace my grandmother, Annia E. Sullivan in Troy or Ireland. This Michael may be a nephew of hers. She left Troy about 1890, came to Butte, MT.

do you have any other info on your grandmother or father?
I googled Michael Sullivan tonight out of curiosity and it took me to this site. This picture of Michael Sullivan is the only clue I have to my grandmother, Anna E. SULLIVAN, daughter of Michael SULLIVAN and Bridget SULLIVAN, nee SULLIVAN. I can not find the family in Ireland or New York. I know Anna married my grandfather in Butte MT in 1893. She told an uncle that the family left Cork and came to Troy New York to stay with relatives. Anna died in Seattle, WA in 1938 and was buried in Butte. The marriage certificate of Anna E. listed the parents’ names. The picture of Michael, above, was found in my uncle’s things after he died. Hundreds of SULLIVANs came to Butte and I can’t find a connection. Here’s hoping.
