I found this picture among stacks of papers. It was in a frame that I purchased from a dealer. I have no idea who the child is, but evidently she was from the Boston, Mass. area or visiting there. The photographer’s name is Gray, 1030 Tremont St., Boston.

I recently found an old photo in some family belongings. The name of the child, in a picture very similar to yours, is written “Mame Cogley.” It’s so frustrating and yet so intriguing to try to get to the bottom of these enigmatic people looking straight at you from the past.
I have sent this photo to my 2nd cousin, Bill Demarais whos grand parents lived in Fall River, MA in the 20’s
