After being evacuated back to Egypt, he fought with the Light Horse in numerous battles such as Romani, Magdhaba, Gaza,Beersheba, Tel ElKhuweilfe, Es Salt,Ghoranijy and Abu Tellul.He survived with light injuries and returned to Australia in March 1919. My uncles story is for his relatives and will not be finished for about another year. I think It is an amazing story. Regards.
