In collaboration with my cousins, I am presently writing the story of my uncle who was in the Queensland 2nd Light Horse Regiment that landed at Gallipoli on 12th May and left on 14th.November 1915. After being evacuated back to Egypt, he fought with the Light Horse in numerous battles such as Romani, Magdhaba, Gaza,Beersheba, Tel ElKhuweilfe, Es Salt,Ghoranijy and Abu Tellul. He survived with light injuries and returned to Australia in March 1919.
My uncles story is for his relatives and will not be finished for about another year. I think It is an amazing story. Regards.
