I pay so much for my Ancestry Premium subscription that I just can’t afford another subscription. I have been able to get my son to help pay for my subscription as a Christmas or Birthday gift, but these days that is a pretty big gift.

Also, I would like to buy the DNA testing, but I would like to use it for medical purposes too. Some of my health problems are inherited. I am interested to find out if these diseases are prevalent in my family members. I have found family members that I didn’t know before who also suffer from these same disorders i.e. Psoriasis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Irritable Bowel, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia. I seem to have inherited these diseases from specific sides of my family. DNA may help my Drs. pinpoint the specific markers which affect my system causing those specific immune disorders and better prescribe medications to block those triggers that attack my system. I know that the data is used by researchers after Ancestry is finished with it. I think this is a wonderful idea. But I feel the users of should be able to access how their information is being used and the results of their research to see if any of it might help any of us in any way, still keeping in consideration the fact that we have given our release for their use of our information.

Thank you for your consideration of these suggestions,
