Every ten days or so I head on over to Tweetchat.com to host a genealogy conversation 140 characters at a time. I usually hang out there for an hour and a half or so, answering questions about a whole variety of topics – research methodologies, how to search effectively, where to find records for a specific country. It’s a whole lot of fun trying to keep up with 20 or 30 different conversations at once. But, the common thread that runs through all of them? We all just want to know more about those who came before us. Tweetchat is just one more tool to help us do that.
If you have never participated in a Tweetchat here are some simple instructions:
There will be another Ancestry.com Genealogy Tweetchat tonight at 9:00 pm (Eastern)/6:00 pm (Pacific). I hope you will join me in one form or another. Even if you don’t have a question to ask, it can be educational to follow the various threads of conversation. Then come back here and let me know what you learned. I’d love to hear it!
Until next time,
