Kris, I enjoyed your story; I too am an artist but it skipped a generation with my kids. There are lots of artists in my line but a lot who could have been but were discouraged from continuing in the arts. I wouldn't be surprised to find a gene in the body that continues art down the line. Should be an interesting study. My degree is in painting but it has taken a backseat to other things lately.Wanted to tweet this but haven't got the bird thing figured out. I do love history and genealogy.

My talents are my children. Alicia is doing research in Microbiology specializing in Immunology. Michael will be going to college next year focusing on Engineering and Political Science. My wife Betty shares your love of Geneology.I wish she could discover more about our Native American roots but records are few and our French Canadian ancestors tried to hide this from the Canadian Government because of racial profiling and oppresion.

Enjoyed your entry very much. If I may ask, where has your love for and talent in art taken you at this time in your life.

For me and my family, it has been music and art. I can not imagine life without a song.
