I really appreciate being able to learn so much about my own ancestors, as well as in the research I've done for others, as I find documents that add so much to our family history. Sure, it's got rough spots and sometimes it's hard to find what I'm looking for. But without it, connecting with people - and understanding what the world is like for them - would be much more difficult. It's a modern ever-changing technology, but it also helps us preserve and understand the past, and helps us understand in particular what the world was like when our parents were our age.
