For several years I had been looking for genealogical info on a distant relative of my mother's who was an actress in the silent movies. I could find many newspaper articles advertising the movies she was in and some reviews even,but no biographical info for her early life. I found her in "Motion Picture Studio Directories,1919,1921"!!! It told her place of birth and that enabled me to find her in censuses and know who her parents and siblings were and how she fit into my Mom's ancestry line. Thanks again!
