Tana - We just recently (today) loaded FTM 2009. I had originally started everything online and was able to download my GED file so I didn't have to input all the info again. I was wondering though about getting all my media from ancestry.com.

The web clipping is ok, but it lists the picture with some crazy file name which I know I can change, but I have quite a bit of pictures to download and was wondering if there wasn't a way to get them all down at once?

Some of them I have on my computer, but others I've gotten from other trees and such.

Thank you,

Is this something that can also be done from the trees in Ancestry.com?

Same question about source citations that Larry had.

Thanks

Tana,

Thanks for reminding us of this FTM feature. I'm not one for including internet content without ensuring a) that I can verify with a non-Internet source and b) ensuring it is well documented, including the URL.

I see that during the preparation the URL is displayed. Does web clipping have self documenting source citations (according to your new templates) or does the user have to manually prepare the source citation?

Look forward to your reply.

Regards,
Larry
