My comments concern FTM, particularly FTM 2008. Well, since Version 5 (1999) I have been a happy user of FTM. Every time there has been a new version, I have purchased it. Unfortunately, 2008 changed everything. I feel ripped off. I bought a copy for myself & my daughter. We were in the middle of putting a book together..... my daughter is a system analyst & is quite familiar with new products/ programs being released. You sold us an untested, bug riddled program. I bought it in the fall of 2007.... when I discovered how skewed this thing was, I called & spoke to a representative. I was told you were working on some things that you didn't have time to get into the program before releasing it. UH.... really, I would have never guessed! I was told a patch should come out in the spring.... well, it was a tad late. I used to recommend FTM.... not anymore except to tell them to hurry up & purchase an old copy of 2006 if they can get one.

Do you plan to change the genealogy report so that spouses of children also show their birth and death dates. It does not do that now.

Thanks for the patch. I was glad to see you added the genealogy report, but you also added "in" to the facts section for the place/description. When the genealogy report prints, it automatically adds "in" after the date which makes it look stupid if you are only putting an explanation for this fact. For instance, Fact 3, date: 1860, place/description: Daniel is not listed in 1860 census.
The genealogy report states: Fact 3 1860 "in" Daniel is not listed. Even if you change this to description only it still adds "in" to the fact.

The Genealogy Register Report is not the accepted format. I would be able to turn in a report like this if it was a required report. In the marriage section, it lists the husband and wife and then it names the spouse. No kidding, it was redundant. And sometimes wrong. If someone was married twice, it would name the couple using the 2nd spouse but then it would list the first spouse. There are not lowercase roman numerals. Why did you change this report from the previous editions? This report is a joke.
